Reminder, Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Bogota Sports Complex—a project that will bring state-of-the-art athletic facilities to our community! This is a major step toward enhancing recreational opportunities for all, providing a hub for sports, fitness, and community engagement. Week Of Respect is 10/7-10/11 next week!
10/7 Monday is the school wide assembly and also picture day dress down! Students may dress to impress for their picture!
10/8 Tuesday there will be activities during lunch.
10/9 Wednesday is a Dress Down Day but Students MUST wear BLUE!
10/10 Thursday there will be activities during lunch!
10/11 Friday is a Dress Down Day, Students please wear something that represents YOU, be unique!
**Reminder for dress down days: NO pajamas, ripped jeans or cropped tops! No slider shoes either.
Jr. YAC presents our annual Food Drive. This event will run from October 1-23rd. The homeroom that hands in the most donations will have a donut or bagel party!
Reminder! Bogota Public Schools are closed Thursday, October 3rd for those that observe Rosh Hashanah.
Picture Day Forms will be sent home with your child this week. Please make sure you look in their backpack or ask for them.

Alliance Resource Fair & Family Fun Day is on Sun, Oct 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the William Paterson University Student Center in Wayne Nj from 11am-1pm. The Alliance hosts a Resource Fair and Family Fun Day, helping families with children with disabilities learn about essential services and programs. More than 50 vendors and 400+ guests enjoy face painting, games, balloon animals, and a cast of superheroes and familiar friendly characters. This disability-friendly event is fun, informative, and free to families!

7th grade students in Mrs. Del Rosso’s and Mrs. Mantione’s Civics classes participated in our annual Bogota Middle School Poster contest in honor of Constitution Day. Students were tasked with designing their own original poster to display how they and their family benefit from the freedoms embodied in the U.S. Constitution. Students were provided with poster paper and given a week to complete. 7th graders then voted on the posters to determine four winners. These four students received the most votes by their peers for their Constitution Day Poster. Congratulations!!
ZINEniac Studios in Teaneck is hosting "Mental Health in Motion".
This program utilizes one our curricula - Keys to Innervisions (KIV) - to help middle and high school participants develop a healthy attitude and mental space for the school year. Because KIV focuses on channeling your inner power and growing your self-confidence, participants will be able to understand themselves better to then make better choices and create positive changes in their lives as needed. There are arts and crafts involved as well in the form of stop motion film; each lesson, students will contribute to a different aspect of the film making process such as creating backdrops or creating characters based on the lessons taught!
