Candy Cane Day!!!

Last Week our 6th graders took a trip to the library to learn about all the amazing things they have to offer as well as took a tour and enjoyed some of the board games they have! Thanks for having us!!!

Using found objects and boxes from home our 7th grade students started to create very imaginative robots in Mrs. Longo's Art class. The sculptures are beginning to take on personalities of their own!

A very special teacher brought in a brand new keurig for us all to enjoy since our old one randomly stopped working! Fueled by coffee especially this busy time of year!

All BMS students discussed sELF Control last week! What are some things you can control vs. some things you cannot control??

Yesterday, Author Matt Myklush visited BMS to discuss his new book! Students were able to preorder them and were so engaged during the presentation. Our amazing PTO also donated 2 of these books per classroom! 🤩

After finishing reading S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders novel for ELA class, the BMS 7th grade class had an Outsiders-themed day! Students made their way to NYC, got to sit in premier Orchestra seating and got a shout-out from the cast and crew in the Playbill! It was a great day!!

We are so thankful to have such a supportive PTO! They really made this day so special by providing stickers, mints, snacks, dessert, drinks and pizza to all our 7th graders before they headed off into the City to view The Outsiders! Thank you all again!
