Our BMS 6th grade students went to Meadowlands Environment center where they became Estuary Explorers for the day! They had a great time!!

Today is World Mental Health Day and day 4 of the Week of Respect! For today’s activity, we all made kindness cards and it was sponsored by one of our students families non-profits @lettersof_hope ! This family donated all of the supplies to create the cards as well as donuts and munchkins for all of our students and staff. Letters of Hope’s mission is to encourage mental wellness through hand-written letters. They have donated over 15,000 letters to those in need! Everyone please take a moment to follow their instagram and help support their mission!

BMS decorated the sidewalk for the Weeks of Respect!

The PTO's David’s cookie dough fundraiser is in full effect!! All forms will be going home today with the kids. If you don’t have a kid in the middle school and would like to order some, please reach out to us. These cookies were a big hit last year. They already come portioned so all have to do is pop it in the oven. Orders will arrive before Thanksgiving, right in time for the holidays. A nice treat to take to family gatherings or as a sweet snack. Thank you in advance for all the support💜💛

Bogota Middle School kicked off the Week of Respect with the help of Mr. Limone and Ms. Nikii and their students putting together an amazing presentation about inclusion. Students from the 18-21 program and BMS worked together to create and perform a skit about how important it is to make everyone feel safe and included in school! #weekofrespect

Reminder, Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Bogota Sports Complex—a project that will bring state-of-the-art athletic facilities to our community! This is a major step toward enhancing recreational opportunities for all, providing a hub for sports, fitness, and community engagement. When: Friday, October 4th at 5:30 pm, Where: Fiegel Field, 198 W Park Place, Bogota.

Week Of Respect is 10/7-10/11 next week! 10/7 Monday is the school wide assembly and also picture day dress down! Students may dress to impress for their picture! 10/8 Tuesday there will be activities during lunch. 10/9 Wednesday is a Dress Down Day but Students MUST wear BLUE! 10/10 Thursday there will be activities during lunch! 10/11 Friday is a Dress Down Day, Students please wear something that represents YOU, be unique! **Reminder for dress down days: NO pajamas, ripped jeans or cropped tops! No slider shoes either.

Jr. YAC presents our annual Food Drive. This event will run from October 1-23rd. The homeroom that hands in the most donations will have a donut or bagel party!

Reminder! Bogota Public Schools are closed Thursday, October 3rd for those that observe Rosh Hashanah.
