Welcome, My name is Kristen King and I am your child's Special Education English teacher for 7th and 8th grade. I teach two 7th grade classes and two 8th grade classes so I travel between BHS and BMS every day. I earned my B.A. in Family and Child Studies at Montclair State University in 2010 and my M.Ed. in Special Education in 2012. I hold the following teacher certifications in the state of NJ: Pre-K through Grade 3, Social Studies grades 5-8, English Language Arts grades 5-8, Science grades 5-8, Teacher of Students with Disabilities and K-6. I grew up in Leonia, NJ and still live there today. I am married to my husband of 10 years. This past July I gave birth to our first child, Korabeth. I returned from maternity leave in January. I love teaching in Bogota and especially working with middle school-age students. I am passionate about education and truly enjoy coming to school each day.
