"Enter to learn, depart to serve, and leave the place better than you found it."
Greetings to All,
My name is Diana Englese, and I am absolutely thrilled and honored to become a member of the Bogota Bucs Family! As I begin my first year as your new Vice-Principal, I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to meet all of you, build meaningful relationships, and become an active and supportive member of the Bogota school community.
This year marks my 19th year in education, and throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with students, families, teachers, and administrators across a wide variety of educational settings. Prior to joining the Bogota School District, I served as a school counselor in the North Bergen School District, where I worked with students across various grade levels and with a wide range of needs and experiences, from Kindergarten through 12th grade. These experiences have helped shape my belief that every student deserves to feel supported, valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
My educational journey began at Drew University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree. I continued my studies at Caldwell University, earning my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, followed by Post-Master's certifications in Director of School Counseling and Principal programs. I am grateful for the many educators, mentors, students, and families who have influenced me throughout my career and helped me grow both personally and professionally.
I am truly thankful and honored to have been given the opportunity to join the Bogota community. I look forward to getting to know our students, families, faculty, and staff and to working together to make this a successful, positive, and memorable school year. I believe that strong relationships and open communication are essential to creating a school environment where everyone feels welcome and supported. Please know that I am always happy to listen, answer questions, and work together to help our students succeed.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Damon, as well as my family and friends. I also love traveling, making memories with the people I care about, and, of course, watching all of the Croatia soccer games! I am looking forward to bringing that same enthusiasm and energy into the Bogota community.
If you ever need to reach out to me, please feel free to contact me by email at dienglese@bogotaboe.com. I welcome the opportunity to connect with you and look forward to building strong relationships throughout the school year.
Thank you for welcoming me into the Bogota Bucs Family. I am excited for all that the year ahead has in store and look forward to working alongside our incredible school community. Here's to a wonderful, successful, and exciting school year!
Respectfully,
Diana Englese
