Ms. Silletti is our staff member of the month for January. Ms. Silletti is a kindergarten teacher who consistently goes above and beyond for her students. She is always open to trying new strategies to determine what works best, creating a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Kind, patient, and welcoming, Ms. Silletti makes students and staff feel valued and supported. She is a strong advocate for her students and is deeply committed to helping each one succeed. For our Bixby Martin Luther King Day of Service, our entire school hosted a fundraiser to promote literacy in our community. Our school raised $211.61 to support the Bogota Library's Summer Reading Program! Thanks for all you do Bogota Library! @Bogotalibrarynj @Bogotapublic

Students in Mrs. Gadd's class learned all about hydroponic gardens. They planted lettuce seeds in December and finally harvested them! The students had a great time with the hands-on garden all while learning about the needs of plants and healthy eating! @BogotaPublic

Due to inclement weather, Bogota Schools will have a delayed opening on Tuesday, Jan 27. Classes start at 9:50. Students should arrive at least 10 mins prior.

On Monday, Jan 26, all Bogota schools will be closed due to inclement weather.

Students in Mrs. Zayas-Bazan and , Ms. Roger's class finished their astronomy unit! To close the astronomy topic they made the phases of the moon using Oreos and constellations with marshmallows and toothpicks. What fun! @BogotaPublic

In honor of MLK, 2nd graders chose a special service project. They designed special bookmarks to give to a kindergarten buddy and read with them! Kindness & giving back in honor of the work of MLK is so important! Great job 2nd grade! @BogotaPublic

Mrs. Jano and Mrs. Moyer's class have been studying plants! Today, they even got to plant their own radish seeds. They will continue to observe them through the coming weeks like scientists! @BogotaPublic
