It's phonics fun in Mrs. Neilsen's second grade class! Students completed a cut and paste reviewing the vowel team ai and ay during UFLI. They even categorized real words and nonsense words! @BogotaPublic

Students in Mrs. DiGiacomo's class studied "The Case of the Words in Disguise" during Phonics. Students learned about contractions and played contraction word pick up with their partner to match the word pair with the contraction.  @BogotaPublic

Our first gathering in our new gym and our first ever Bixby Friendsgiving Feast! We are so thankful for our students, faculty, PTO, and parent volunteers! We have an amazing school community and today was a day to remember! @BogotaPublic @BogotaPreschool

Our first graders presented our school with a Bixby Balloons Over Broadway Parade! It was so cool seeing all of the balloons the students created! @BogotaPublic

Congratulations to our November Staff Member of the Month, Ms. Anna Kaca! Ms. Kaca has been a part of the Bixby family since 2017 and has worked within our special education ABA classrooms. Ms. Kaca tailors her instruction to meet each individual student at their level so they can reach their full potential. She also enjoys collaborating with other teachers in the building and coming up with fun ways to deliver her instruction. Ms. Kaca is grateful every day for the opportunity to support and work with her amazing students! Outside of school, Ms. Kaca enjoys shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Congratulations! Well deserved! @BogotaPublic
