Our school counselor, Ms. Pimentel, helped our students brainstorm some 'ingredients' together to make Friendship Soup! The hands-on lesson promoted kindness and positive character traits that we can show each day!

Our PreK students had such a great time at Abma's Farm! Pumpkin picking, playgrounds, and petting zoos make for a perfect fall trip!

Ms. Kumar's class held an Autumn Fest celebration! Students held presentations, fall harvest exhibitions, scavenger hunts, and fun activities! It was a great way to celebrate all things FALL!

On Wednesday, we wore pink to spread Breast Cancer Awareness! All proceeds from the dress down today went towards the fight against Breast Cancer.

Mrs. Citakian's class is here to remind everyone to practice fire safety at all times! They had a great time learning ways to stay safe in case of a fire emergency. Always be prepared!

In celebration of the completion of their first CKLA unit, Mrs. Zayas-Bazan and Ms. Rogers' first grade class held a fable Olympics! Students played Olympic games to represent all the fables they studied! Such fun!

Kindergarteners in Mrs. Silletti's, Mrs. Jano's, and Ms. Moyer's classes are learning to count to 10! Here they are using ten frames to show a visual representation of numbers up to 10!

Our Bixby Bulldogs had a visit from Bogota's Fire Marshall Mr. Klima. He discussed fire safety and gave handouts for families to create a fire escape plan! Thank you for taking the time out of your day to visit our students!

Kindergarteners in Ms. Skrnich's class got a play-based twist on today's phonics lesson. They got to write and sound out words in shaving cream! What an exciting day!
