Steen School would like to congratulate the December Staff Member of the Month: Mrs. Julie Vinci! Mrs. Vinci has been teaching in Bogota for the past 7 years. She began as a preschool teacher in Bixby and then moved to Steen School to teach first grade. This year, she moved up to second grade with many of her students. She absolutely loves it! Mrs. Vinci is an excellent team player. She enjoys collaborating and co-teaching with other staff members in the building. Her class is built upon the saying 'our class is a family.' Each day, she makes her students feel valued and appreciated. As a result, she has great rapport with her second graders and they are eager to come to school each and every day. Mrs. Vinci always brings fun and creative ideas to the classroom and is always up for new challenges. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her other hobbies include cooking and traveling. A fun fact about Mrs. Vinci: she loves to collect magnets from all of the places that she has traveled to! Congratulations Mrs. Vinci! Well deserved!
