7th grade students in Mrs. Del Rosso’s and Mrs. Mantione’s Civics classes participated in our annual Bogota Middle School Poster contest in honor of Constitution Day. Students were tasked with designing their own original poster to display how they and their family benefit from the freedoms embodied in the U.S. Constitution. Students were provided with poster paper and given a week to complete. 7th graders then voted on the posters to determine four winners. These four students received the most votes by their peers for their Constitution Day Poster. Congratulations!!
ZINEniac Studios in Teaneck is hosting "Mental Health in Motion".
This program utilizes one our curricula - Keys to Innervisions (KIV) - to help middle and high school participants develop a healthy attitude and mental space for the school year. Because KIV focuses on channeling your inner power and growing your self-confidence, participants will be able to understand themselves better to then make better choices and create positive changes in their lives as needed. There are arts and crafts involved as well in the form of stop motion film; each lesson, students will contribute to a different aspect of the film making process such as creating backdrops or creating characters based on the lessons taught!

- For the safety of all our students, please make sure that if you are dropping off your child, they are dropped off on the side closest to the school entrance. We want to avoid having students cross the middle of the street in the morning.
- If your child is walking to school, please remind them to only cross at corners and designated crosswalks, and to follow the instructions of the crossing guards. Crossing guards are posted at busy streets to ensure our children's safety, which remains our top priority.
