Hi, I am Dr. Carol Murphy and I am currently teaching Chemistry in the Community, Integrated Chemistry, Honors Integrated Chemistry, AP Environmental Science and AP Psychology at Bogota High School. I started teaching at BHS during the 2017-18 school year and I previously taught Biology and Psychology for 3 years at a charter high school in Jersey City. I am certified in New Jersey to teach Biology, Psychology and Chemistry.

My background is primarily in neuroscience research and I have worked in both academic institutions and in the pharmaceutical industry as a preclinical scientist, mostly working toward the development of novel drug treatments for anxiety, depression and schizophrenia.

I look forward to helping students better understand both themselves and the world around them in the year ahead.
