Wednesday, 10/16: Meme/Celebrity: Dress up as an iconic internet meme or famous celebrity.
Thursday, 10/17: Duo Day: Come to school in a matching outfit with someone else
Friday, 10/18: Bogota colors day: in the theme of our pep rally, dress up head to toe in purple, black and yellow to show your Bogota spirit! ** PM Assembly Schedule**
Reminder, even with a spirit week, all clothes MUST be school appropriate.

Greetings 8th grade families,
We will be having a Halloween costume party just for our 8th grade this year. The party will take place on Wednesday, October 30 from 6:00-8:30. There will be pizza, Halloween candy/favor bags and a costume contest with prizes. The cost is only $5 to attend. Hope to see all 8th graders!

BHS Week of Respect – October 7- 11, 2024
Following the passage of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act in 2010, with amendments in
2011, a new series of Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying requirements were
established for New Jersey Public Schools. One such requirement is the “Week of
Respect”.
Week of Respect is the first week in October where we teach our students and staff how
to respect others, our school, our community and ourselves. Here in Bogota Jr|Sr High
School, we take great pride in our education and support to our students. It is incredibly
important that we respect one another while working together to end bullying!

Tuesday, October 8th, we welcome preeminent author, and youth
empowerment speaker, John Morello, for an assembly with all students.
Daily challenges for students and staff to help promote unity in our
community!
Daily lessons and education on cyberbullying with our Morning Show
students.
Open discussions with students surrounding historic events in New Jersey
that have led the Anti-Bullying Act.
Reminder, Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Bogota Sports Complex—a project that will bring state-of-the-art athletic facilities to our community! This is a major step toward enhancing recreational opportunities for all, providing a hub for sports, fitness, and community engagement. When: Friday, October 4th at 5:30 pm, Where: Fiegel Field, 198 W Park Place, Bogota.
