Contact Info

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or anything that may help me better support your child.

I am always happy to communicate with families and work together to help each student have a successful school year.

Homework

Homework will be assigned every day.

Students are encouraged to complete their homework carefully and return it to school on the assigned day. Homework is an important opportunity for students to practice the skills they are learning in school and develop strong work habits.

If you have any questions about an assignment, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Looking Ahead

I am looking forward to getting to know each of my students and helping them have a successful and positive 5th grade year. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and celebrating their growth.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to a fantastic year of learning and growth together!

Best regards,

You Can Help!

There are many simple ways families can support their child's success at home:

  1. Check Homework Daily

    • Ask your child about their homework each day.

    • Encourage them to complete assignments carefully and independently.

    • Help them develop a consistent homework routine.

  2. Encourage Reading

    • Encourage your child to read every day.

    • Ask questions about what they are reading and have them explain their thinking.

  3. Practice Organization

    • Help your child keep track of homework, materials, and important school information.

    • Encourage them to pack their backpack and prepare for the next school day.

  4. Encourage Independence

    • Give your child opportunities to try challenging tasks on their own before stepping in to help.

    • Encourage them to ask questions when they do not understand something.

  5. Celebrate Progress

    • Recognize your child's effort, growth, and persistence.

    • Remind them that making mistakes is a normal and important part of learning.

  6. Communicate With Me

    • Please reach out whenever you have a question or concern.

    • Working together as a school and family team can make a meaningful difference in your child's success.
