Hi! I am Mrs. Atempa, the Department Chairperson for Language Arts and the 8th grade English teacher at Bogota Jr./Sr. High School. I have been a part of the Bogota educational community since 2018. Each September, I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet new students and cultivate meaningful relationships with them. My primary objective is to equip my students for success in high school. Summer reading is mandatory for 8th grade and will contribute to your first grade for the marking period. Let’s begin the year on a positive note!
All summer reading assignments should be submitted through Google Classroom. The code is on the welcome letter.
