Elsy Garcia

Hola!. My name is Elsy Garcia I am exited to be teaching Spanish I and II at Bogota Bogota Jr/Sr High School. I am originally from Colombia, and this is my third year teaching in this school. I am passionate about sharing my language and culture with students.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy dancing, reading, traveling, and discovering new places. I also speak Italian and have a sweet spot for flan de leche!

My vision for teaching Spanish is to create a classroom where students feel comfortable using the language at any level. I believe that learning Spanish should be fun, engaging, and meaningful—helping students build confidence while exploring a new culture.
