Ms. DeAngelis joined the Bogota High School District in 2013. She has been teaching special education students since then. Besides having her own resource math class, she has also always done in class support, having the opportunity to work with all different types of student abilities. For the first three years in Bogota, Ms. DeAngelis taught high school math (Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II). Now, Ms. DeAngelis teaches middle school seventh and eighth-grade resource math and does in-class support for Math 7 and Math 8. Ms. DeAngelis is very passionate about her work and has always been a dedicated student herself. She graduated high school in the top 20% of her class, awarding her the NJ Star Scholarship. While teaching, she completed two master's degrees in special education and educational leadership, with a 4.0 GPA. As well as continuing to brighten young students' minds, she hopes to continue her own education.
