Mrs. Donna Citakian

Hi!

My name is Donna Citakian.  I have been teaching in the Bogota School System for many years and I love it!  I began my career in Bogota at Lillian M. Steen teaching Resource Room for grades 1-6.  Today, my heart belongs to E. Roy Bixby School, teaching students with special needs in grades Kindergarten through second grade.  I can truly say I LOVE my job!!

On a personal note, I reside in Cresskill, NJ with my husband, Vrej and two children.   I have a son and a daughter named Joseph and Adrianna.  Joseph works in a technical theatre and Adrianna is a hair dresser.

Homework Policy/ Communication Pod

Homework will be given Monday-Thursday in the areas of Math, Reading, and Spelling.  

Please sign the homework pad on a nightly basis.  

Use the homework pad as a commuication log.  Tell me if your child is having difficulty with the homework, had a bad/good night, etc...

Reading Logs are due on Friday.  Your child is expected to read everynight for 10 minutes.  For non-readers, they can tell a story looking at the pictures.  Help your child if needed to complete the log everynight.  

Spelling Assignments

Monday-  Words 2X

Tuesday- Put your spelling words in sentences.

Wednesday- Put all of your spelling words in ABC order.

Thursday- Study for your Spelling Test.

Friday-  Spelling Test
