• Welcome to Mrs. Frey's Website

My name is Joan Frey and I joined the Bogota School District in 1998, this is my 22nd  year.  I began at Bogota part time teaching the High School Profiency Assessment class to help the students in passing their HSPA test for graduation.   Working part time also allowed me to work in the Library after school for the students who needed to get their work done.  The following year I began teaching full time.  In my years at Bogota, I have taught 7th grade, 8th grade, pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and BSI 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. At the present time I am teaching Geometry and BSI 11.

I look forward to coming to work everyday to teach your children.  Your student can find me after school for extra help on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  If they need me in the morning they can set up an appointment with me by emailing the night before or the day before.

In 2006, I became a senior class advisor.  This has been a very rewarding experience.  I get to see the students as adults ready to attend prom, their senior trip, graduate, and prepare for the next stage of their life.
