    Weekly Papers

    I will be sending home all papers that have been completed and graded usually the same day, as well as posting grades onto PowerSchool. The best way to see how your child is doing in each subject is to log onto Powerschool each week.

    PowerSchool: https://bogota.powerschool.com/public/home.html

    Homework/Class work

    Students have been given a Student Planner. They will write their assignments in their planner and place any important papers their folder.   Parents must sign their child’s planner each night.  After they complete an assignment, they should place it in the front pocket of the folder. Students are to read every night for 20 - mins (Raz-Kids is accepted) and will be collected every Friday for check in and then graded with 30 days of reading.    I encourage parents to review the contents of your child’s homework folder and planner each night when signing the Reading Log.

    I believe that homework is necessary for practicing skills that have been learned or for enriching the classroom experience.

    I expect all homework and class work to be turned in on time.  Late assignments will be graded with points taken off.  Students will not be allowed to call home if they forget their work . Students should pack their book bags at night with all the materials needed for the next day. Organization is the key to success!

    Forget a textbook or absent? Please go to https://www.pearsonrealize.com/index.html#/   for Math and Science , in order to complete assignments so it could be handed in on time.  Both Science and Math textbooks are available online, students will have their id and passwords on the first day of school.

    *Passwords for both subjects are superstar5s

    * Science 5K password: superstar5k
